Bio
Creatures of the night behold, a darkwave band has
been formed!
We are Baby Gargoyle. We are a new duo featuring
Alex Olloman on vocals/keys and Alistair David on
bass; managed by Thomas Migot. Like a Baby
Gargoyle, our music is mysterious, emotional
and packs a bite.
Alistair’s noiserock work and Alex’s Jazz / prog
background come together with drum machines
and metallic samples of Rotterdam’s industry, and
culminates in our own atmospheric shade of
darkwave, occasionally lifting off on postpunk
turbo charges.
There is a resurge in interest in the Gothic
subculture and Baby Gargoyle is driven to bring
sounds of hope and re-enchantment to this
widespread fascination with the darkness of our
times. 2026 brings us collaborations with the
organisers at Soundville and Varia zone to help
grow the new gothic scene that is bubbling up in
Rotterdam.
